Built around the barbell

No juice bar, no mirrors-only cardio floor. Just a place to get strong.

Learn the big 4

Squat, bench, deadlift and overhead press, taught step by step in your first 4 sessions.

Lift with a coach

A trainer is on the floor at every session, so you never guess at your form.

Train before work

Doors open at 5:30 AM so you can finish a full session by 7:00.

Follow a clear plan

Get a written 12-week strength program with weights logged every session.

Start at any level

Begin with an empty bar at 20 kg and add small jumps each week.

Train in a real gym

Racks, plates and platforms built for heavy lifting, not just machines.

Strength is a skill. We teach it.

Strength is a skill. We teach it.

Most people get hurt or stall because nobody showed them how to lift. At Kochi Barbell Club your first session starts with the bar, not a sales pitch. A coach watches your squat, fixes your setup and gives you one thing to focus on next time. You leave knowing exactly what to do in your next 3 workouts.

A floor that stays uncrowded on purpose

A floor that stays uncrowded on purpose

We keep the gym focused on strength training, so racks are not tied up by people scrolling their phones. You get room to set up, warm up and work through your sets. Coaches stay close enough to spot a rounded back before it becomes a habit, and the program on your sheet tells you what to do next.

Questions before you walk in

I have never lifted. Is this for me?

Yes. Most people start with an empty 20 kg bar. Your coach builds up from there.

Is the first session really free?

Yes. It is about 45 minutes with a coach, and you owe nothing afterwards.

What should I bring?

A water bottle, a towel and flat-soled shoes. We have chalk and plates.

Do I need a program?

Monthly and quarterly members get a written 12-week plan, which we adjust as you progress.

Can I train if I have an old injury?

Tell your coach during your first visit. We adapt movements, but check with your doctor first.

Can I cancel my membership?

Monthly memberships can stop at the end of any month. Ask us for the details.
